About the brand

Olive growing in Greece began primarily on small family farms, where a special relationship is built between the producers and the olive trees – a relationship based on respect and care. It is a bond filled with love that bears precious fruits.

This is how the history of our company began, established in 1989 in Kalamata – a region where olives and olive oil of the highest quality have been produced since ancient times.

Lelia olives quickly found their place on the Greek market and became highly sought after thanks to their innovative packaging – aluminum pouches with the addition of extra virgin olive oil.

In 2013, our company merged with Greek Land Foods LTD – a traditional Greek company founded in 1912 in Kalamata. Since 2009, Greek Land Foods LTD has been the producer of the highly successful international brand “esti”, sold in more than 25 countries. The new company was renamed Lelia Foods S.A.

LELIA’s production facilities are located on an area of 12 acres in the region of Kalochori Avlidas (88 km from Athens International Airport) and operate in accordance with the high quality standards of IFS, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000. LELIA’s factory has 4 automatic production lines for the production of olives, olive oil, olive paste and other agricultural products.
